Woo-hoo!
They've got the kind of home for their layout that most of us would give just about anything for!
Their website has some impressive photos. https://www.bcmrrc.com/about-the-club
Trains, trains, wonderful trains. The more you get, the more you toot!
That's a beautiful old station isn't it?
Ex-Erie, now New Jersey Transit, It was built in 1870 and has hardly changed since then. There's been a rail line through there (Hillsdale) since 1859, first the New Jersey & New York, then the Erie, then NJT. The BCMRRC "lives" on the second floor.
I've never managed to get inside (yet), but here's a tour courtesy of "The Subway Nut."

Up until 25 years ago (roughly) the remnants of a passing siding were still extant. plus the broken concrete foundation of the steam-era water tower. All re-lanscaped now and cleaned up.
Here's a very dramatic video of a train arriving in Hillsdale, shot by the gent who filmed the club layout. Go full-screen if you can on your computer, it looks even better!

Time to liven things up again.
Here's a vid of a local train club here in the Richmond area, the River City Three-Railers. They have a "traveling roadshow" that visits train meets, museums, and various locations at Christmas time.
