This is great.  I'm wondering why I never thought of it.  I love Halloween, I love trains...duh.  Now I'm thinking hard about creating a Halloween train layout to put in the garage for the trick or treaters.

Rene Schweitzer

Thanks for sharing! Do you have a Halloween open house for trick-or-treaters?

Several of our neighbors on both sides of our house come over and all of them bring there candy to pass out to the little ghouls and goblins, as well as the adult ghouls & goblins, that come to see the trains.

We have even had some visitors who had moved from the area come back just to see what might be new on the Halloween train layout.

We've been doing this for heaven knows how many years. We use dark blue & black sheets, thanks to Goodwill, as a backdrop to make the garage real dark and use a lot of black lights as well as masks, spiders and such hung on monofilament line on the backdrop.

Hopefully we will be doing this for many more years to come.

Wanted to add to the Halloween layout

but Prop 65 voids purchase/shipment to Ca.

dougnotta - Nice display.  I was ponderin' acquiring some of the Lionel HotWheels orange track, to do a Halloween display.

That would be pretty cool for a Halloween layout. Thumbs Up
