Atlas switches and sc-2 (lionel TMCC)

Does anyone have experience using the SC-2 to control Atlas switches. I'm about to try wiring some up, but since the SC-2 seems to expect power from the first switch (which is not the case with Atlas switches), I'd like to hear how others have wired them up. Thanks in advance.
