anjdevil2 I actually HAVE some HO, but I don't display it. Jenni likes the N stuff and I had a set which I gave her and set up. It was kinda cool, she was running her loop and I was running the Lionels. Once I set situated, I'll see if I have room for her N scale stuff on a smaller board so she can run her layout and I hac run mine. Seems like we have a 3rd problem, I found all my Aurora HO racing track and she wants that set up as well. I'll need a bigger house.......lol

Pretty good show. Not as good as the ones in Edison which seem to draw exhibitors from all over, but good just the same.
I scored a Lionel Jersey Central "Camelback," but more on that later. Just got home today and haven't run it yet. We were on the road all day and both feel like someone pulled a plug on us and all the energy drained out!
OK, more on the new arrival. (We're both still beat, but this was important!) Unboxed the Camelback, lubed it up, replaced the 9-volt battery, put it on the tracks and it runs just fine!
Looks like this...

...except mine's a 771 from 1999, top Korean quality!
Ah, my life is complete! Until I figure out something else I can't live without!
Major LOL Roger's Rangers were there! As militia we had to fall in with them.

And I'm sure those hard-core professionals had very little good to say about you "amateurs!"
I am the monster in your head...And I thought you'd learn by now, It seems you haven't yet.I am the venom in your skin --- Breaking Benjamin
That's OK Devil, I'd have loved to meet a fellow Jersey guy myself, but maybe we'll cross paths at an Edison show in the future.
Glad to hear you scored! Wish me luck for tomorrow!
228 views. Hmmmm, wonder if I'm gonna be stalked?
Your girlfriend's getting into N gauge? Well that's fine. I'd caution you about letting her go too far into the "Dark Side" but N gauge isn't the "Dark Side."
HO is the "Dark Side!"
Flint - Wanted to go, girlfriend has accepted an invite to her cousin's BBQ, so I need to meet more of the family. This after a VERY successful trip to the Edison show with her.
Turns out she's getting into N gauge (I have a brand new set in the box), she thought it was cute, so, I'm going to indulge her. This would have been a grand opportunity for her to get some rolling stock and a steam engine (the set has a F3 I think) as she wants a steamer. It will be Pennsy power if I have anything to do with it....lol.
I'd love to meet a fellow Jerseyan....lol.
That's OK gents, maybe there'll be other times!
Major, that F&I war encampment sounds like fun! Say hello to Major Rogers and the Rangers for me if they happen to be there! Generals Amherst and Wolfe as well!
Maybe even young Colonel Washington?
Can't make it this time, Spent all my money at the dentist these past two weeks. I'll also be doing a living history program at Ft Frederick, Md this weekend, it is their French and Indian war muster.
Unfortunately it's doubtful I can go this time. Conducting a wedding on Saturday and little time on Sunday, but I may try for Sunday. I always like the Greenburg show, even just to walk around and check out the display layouts.
Anyone going to the Greenberg Train Show at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks PA this weekend?
We're going to be there Saturday, (shopping, not exhibiting) probably sometime after 10:30 or so. I usually don't like to show up right at opening time, I think it's best to let the herd get out of the way!
Lady Firestorm will be there too, you can find out she really exists and isn't a figment of my imagination!
