Unusual problem with Atlas early rs1 and late rs1
Posted by Anonymous on Monday, January 3, 2005 4:25 PM
I put my new eob atlas rs 1 on the same track with my non eob one and I got a ticking sound in the older ones sound system.
I have the cruse turned off on the new one.
Now here is how I solved it. I just push reset and the ticking stops. My reset turns the smoke unit off on both engines off so when I turn them on, I 1st push reset and then 9 for smoke on and I am set.
I can;t get the two to lash up, so I called atlas and they informed me that to get cruse and the smoke unit in the engine there is a new electronic system in the eob engine, and it probably will not work. The two engines run so well together and because of the added power of the second engine they will just run almost as slow as the one does with cruise on.
Now if I could just get the rear engine (old one) to turn its light off without taking it apart I would be set.
The older one has a very bright blue led and the new ones have a nice warm natural looking amber colored led that looks normal when on.
Dave.
