You need to get the two top levers off. Use 2 good size screw drivers with one blade under each side ot the top lever and pry it off. Do the same to the bottom lever. Now take out the two screws on top of the transformer and lift it off.
If you are going to replace the rollers, take a good size sharp edged nippers and cut the old roller by just crushing it. Now cut the the pin inside the mtg and shove the head out one end and the other half of the pin out the other.
I then put the new roller in place and put in the pin. I get by just using a large plyers and gently smu***he rivit side of the pin just enough so it will stay in. Make sure the roller rolls freely.

I need to replace the power cord for this transformer that has not been used for at least 20 years. How do I remove the casing to access the power cord inside the transformer?
