Hi all! I recently bought a Lionel prewar 225E, and I love it! Being 80 years old, it's not without it's issues; the most annoying being that the smoke box door won't hold itself shut. Comparing it to my 736 Berk, the clasp mechanism appears to be right, but the door just won't 'click' shut and flops open. Any ideas on how to fix this, or should I be in the market for a new smoke box door? Thanks!
probably just need to tweak the clasp. Gently bend it till it catches. I had to do this with a couple of mine.
