Lionel EP5 Amtrak 579

Merry Christman to all!

I got this Lionel Amtrak 579 body with some items that I bought on ebay. Does anyone know the Lionel part number as I'd like to get a powered chassis to make this operational with some Amtrak passanger cars with the same color scheme. Can't find anything online about it.

A custom paint job as all real ones were O/S or scrapped by Conrail by 1979. Any EP5 chassis will fit under the shell. there was a guy last week on the 'Bay selling a pwd chassis for around 79 bucks.

Thanks for the info. Whoever did it did a fine job. I just noticed on the one side under the "radio equipped" decal, there is a faint "2350" there.

Working on an EP5 chassis for it. and need a parts illustration for it
