The video is great but I have two concerns:
First are you preching to the choir? The message needs to go out beyond the MR and CTT community.
Second what can be done to make the hobby more year round not just at Christmas?

If you scroll down far enough, they have links to the CTT reviews, links to the products and a downloadable catalog. Very nice.
Thanks for the kind comments guys, but I thought David did a great job and was a good spokesman to get parents and grandparents to take a look at the product line. And fife, I’m happy where I am. No Maryland or Carolinas in my future. I hear Walmart is hiring

Hey BK, perhaps Big L or Mike's are looking for the right pitch man....?
robmcc rtraincollector robmcc It is a great video to showcase Menards trains leading into the Holiday season. I was surprised to see David Popp do the promo rather than Mark from Menards. I assume Menards must have shopped out the promo video to Kalmbach/MRV. Should of been Bob Keller :) Amen, RT!

Really good video. All it lacked was the face of the little kid running a train set on Christmas™ morning.
Good evening all,
It is a great video and makes me wonder when they will pull the trigger and sell complete sets. Somehow I think they would stick with conventional power/controls since they use tubular track. With their almost nationwide market exposure and low price offerings in other areas, I would tend to think they could make MTH and Lionel nervous and open the train world to a vast set of new eyes. I hope everyone has a good day.
Keep on training,
Mike C. from Indiana
Doesn't surprise me. When, outside of Holiday season (maybe), do either of them spring for advertising space in CTT these days?
Trains, trains, wonderful trains. The more you get, the more you toot!
Bob Keller I'm surprised that neither Lionel or MTH has tried anything like this.

Me too, although I can imagine the ghost of Joshua Lionel Cowan raising cain at Lionel headquarters...
"WHY didn't you guys think of that? Jeez, do I hafta do everything around here? Even when I'm dead?"
Actually, Lionel and MTH have videos on their website if you go looking for them. MTH's vids aren't the same without Taylor or Jill, though.
I too overlooked it. Nice video.

I clicked it yesterday. Great ad, and hopefully a holiday tradition that continues.
i didn’t notice the link for Menards Christmas Magic (the link should be above on the page) yesterday, but just saw it This morning. It is a great video showcasing the Menards product line and is probably the best video ad I’ve seen since the old Lionel ads in the early 60s. It does a good job making you want to check it out and kindles the old holiday train bug.
