I have a 30' by 24' fastrack oval with numerous 0-72 command control fastrack switches. A couple of the switches throw themselves occasionally when the train is running which sends the train into a siding or derails it. I don't know what causes this. It is sporadic.I use lionel legacy and Lion Chief throttles. Any insight in to what is going on would be appreciated. Shylo
I've noticed that 'bugs' happen more often with the Lionel electronics when the track and wheels are dirty.
The bugs I see are occasional whistles, bells, and announcements that sound without being triggered. I don't know if this could affect the switches or not.
By the way, welcome to the froum. A lot of good, knowledgeable folks here. Somebody else out there has probably seen this issue as well.
Good luck.
