Agree. Routing the wires through the table under the track is the way I'd would do it.
On page 29, the top left picture shows a wire being fitted through the opening of a section of FasTrack. This doesn't make sense to me, since the track is going to be permanently mounted. It makes more sense to drill a hole through the table beneath where the FasTrack section is going to be installed. That way the wire is totally hidden from view. The roadbed would cover the hole and the wire(s) fed through it.
