Well thank goodness Bennet Levin's involved with 1361 now.  If he says he's going to bring it back to life you can bet it's going to get done, one way or another.

You know, in a way moving is kind of like archeology, or cleaning out the refrigerator for that matter.

"Where did THIS come from?"

Yes, things that I had forgotten about completely, or wondered where they had gone...

it's been interesting

Wrap your head around this.  My dad was born in 1902.  If he hadn't been a poor kid living on a Pennsylvania farm, think of the toys he could have had hiding away in our attic!  Wink

Becky, looking at how well you turned out I'd say your dad did pretty darn good!

Everything else was gravy.

And thanks for the look at the Marx set!  Quite a thing to have.

Nice collection!

So, this set must be from the 50's, as it only goes up through " Ike "?

Thanks, I was happy to free them from confinement. The 726rr is fully serviced, and ready to go. The 2035 from the train show runs well forward and reverse, and whistles. But, I'll hold off on running her until I have the time to service her completely. Right now, even my tools are packed away !
