March 2004, I ordered a NS SD60 PS2 and NS SD60 Dummy. They were scheduled to arrive in September, then November and then December. Now they show it as March 05. At the same time, I ordered a flat with John Deere trailer, scheduled for the same delivery. Guess what? You guessed it!!! March 05. Ordered a set of flats with John Deere Tractors at the same time. Shows delivery of Dec 04 but train lady has not seen them. Want to guess??? This is stupid. I thought Lionel was bad. This takes the cake. Over a year to get something!!!!!!!!!! [:(!]

Last month it was, "Hurry up and get your order in", for the items on the 2005 Vol 1 catalog. So I orderd the Santa Fe Chief ABA set that I had seen such good reviews on. Delivery was May 05. Well, I guess that means May 06.

Actually in the last two years Lionel has had a much better record than MTH of delivering their products on time :). Sorry for your disappointment, but just wanted to set the record straight.

It’s because they use a different calendar. K-line is no different. [V] I re-joined the KCC and ordered the Billboard and just received it a couple of weeks ago. I still haven’t received the refers that I have on order.

I'd have to agree with Neil...Lionel the past few years has been much better. I'm not saying they haven't had their delays but for the most part are close to schedule.

That's why I never order from a catalog for trains. I'll wait until I see it at my local train store, or at a train meet. I hate dissapointment.

I was already to order the K-Line CSX SD70M with TMCC as part of their KCC Membership 2005 at a great price of $250.00. It would have made a great addition to the Baltimore, Ohio and Wabash RR. After discussing the delivery problems with Spankybird who had a 2004 membership, I decided to take my money and buy something else.

In plain english; K-Line you lost a sale because we are talking here on the forum about your poor delivery of KCC Membership Products [B)] And I like my K-Line products that I own.

I read a statistic that grocery stores believe that one bad customer experience multiplies quickly into seven because people talk about it at parties, meetings and other gatherings.

Promises, promises, promises..........the train manufactures are starting to sound like computer software publishers.[2c][2c][2c][2c][2c][2c]

K-Line has more delivery problems than the others. Just ask anyone who order a Shay or the people who belong to the KCC.

I ordered a K-Line Coca Cola Pymouth engine and caboose a couple of months ago and I only hope that it arrives within my lifetime.
