O27 to atlas or Gargraves track

It really depends ond what accessories you are going to use. There are a few that must connect to traditional tube track and others that only need an insulated track to run. For those that must be used with tube track you can get adapter tracks and use your O27 where it must be.

Congrats on your decision to retire your O27. Your layout will be very happy.

Gargraves I will say yes. As I have done it. But you may have to slide or remove some tie to do so. Either is easy to do. 

If your going to have crossovers ( switches ) I recommend Ross. It may cost more but it will relieve you of many headackes with Gargraves switches.

I intend to switch out my O27 layout to either atlas or Gargraves track. Will my post war lionel accessories work with those track?
