American Flyer All Aboard
Posted by Acclaimed on Saturday, July 21, 2018 10:02 AM

I picked up this set at a yard sale and started unpacking the boxes.  I don't know trains so I don't know if I have everything to make this work.  Could anyone assist me?   I've tried googling the names and I only get quick videos of someone playing with the train but no help on how to test it to see if it works.  Any advice would be great.  Thanks.

Welcome. I figure you are new here.

Scroll down a ways to Toy Train operating and collecting. This forum does not get much use. Those who will probably answer look at the forum only from what I figure.

That forum has American Flyer, Lionel, etc. Even a photo might help of the set. Model Railroader General Discussion forum has instructions for posting photos.

Many here look at forums of interest to them, not all forums from what I have seen over the years. Good luck.

Edit.

I just noticed. The top of that forum has instructions for posting photos.

If you ever fall over in public, pick yourself up and say “sorry it’s been a while since I inhabited a body.” And just walk away.

Can you post pictures of the set?

HI,

Classic Toy Trains published a comprehensive article on the Flyer All Aboard sets in the November 2017 issue, starting on page 62.

Good luck,
