Good input to check the UCS wiring. I have rewired the car and it works fine on an O27 (6109) remote track, so I think the shoes are OK. The UCS Track is right out of the box, already wired to the remote, and prewar remote cars work on the UCS track. The shoes on the milk car are on the opposite sides from the prewar cars. The Prewar cars don't work on the 6109 track, because there are no control rails that align with their pickup shoes.
I’ll check the voltage on the UCS control rails that align with the postwar milk car.
You'll want to make sure the wires are properly attached to the shoes and that the shoes have not cme loose wich is a common point of failure.
Also make sure you have properly wired the UCS track.
I have a 3472 Milk Car that works properly on an O27 6019 Remote Control track, but not on the O-Gauge UCS track. It appears that the pickup shoes are not contacting the control rails properly. Looking for suggestions.
