Lionel Service
Posted by traindaddy1 on Thursday, July 5, 2018 6:30 PM

We recently searched for an authorized Lionel service center to overhaul our ZW transformer and were "hard pressed" here in Orlando to find someone.

While there are many dealers in and around the state, only two who do repairs, the closest one an hour and a half away.

Was wondering what you do when you need an authorized Lionel service repair.

As always, many thanks.

As for "authorized Lionel service" for a old post war ZW?? Not sure but there places that do a fine job of fixing them. Here are two, not sure if both still are out there but you can try, I have used Ken Koehler many times and he does good work. But he is getting old and seems to be backing down. I have heard good things about Davis Lyons as well.
