...it didn't work!
First off, welcome back Rene, you've been absent too long!
Second, nice selections from "The Railbenders," this is the first I've heard of them.
Third, here's a train song I wanted to link for everyone's enjoyment, but it wouldn't "light up," so I'm posting it here. It's called "Iron Horse" and it's by an artist who goes by the name of Mean Mary James. Her musicianship is just amazing!
Watch it and see what you think.

"...though my steed has a stronger will, the 'Iron Horse' has a longer stride..."
PS: She must be awful tough, walking barefoot on the roadbed like that!
Thanks for the comments--I did a test comment on the blog post and it worked for me. I pass your comment along to Bob in case it happens with someone else.
Wow, that is a great song and video--and some amazing banjo picking too! And yes, I noticed her bare feet right away! Ouch!

I copied and pasted the link in the blog. It should have worked for you, sorry it didn't.

Thanks Bob! I can't figure out why it didn't work either, but you know what they say...
"Computer's aren't smart, computer's aren't dumb, computer's are just mean!"
And thanks for the feedback Rene, glad you liked the video!
That banjo pickin'! She must have a brain in each finger...
Um, not so sure what's that has to do with train songs, but no matter.
We've discussed self driving cars on the "Trains" magazine Forum, and the general consensus of those posters "in the know", that is the mechanical and electrical engineers, is it's not going to happen, at least anytime soon. The technology's just too new, not 100% reliable, and not totally understood.
Maybe someday in the future, but not now, despite what the driverless car and truck cheerleaders say.
If anyone is interested in more "Reader's picks" of train-themed songs and has suggestions, email me the YouTube video link and I'll compile another blog post. Email is rschweitzer@kalmbach.com.
