Here are my pair of 2243's(both powered w/QSI reverse units), custom painted by CJB Custom Painting.  Sitting in the Girard depot in honor of National Autism Awareness Month.  Now if we could just get one of the big companies to do either a set or a special freight car to help raise awareness and acceptance for those of us on the spectrum.  I will take one in O gauge tinplate please!      Mike the Aspie

Very colorful paint scheme ! They look great. And this train brings a great message, too !

Thank you for the mention.  I have a grown daughter who is on the spectrum.  Could never get her interested in trains though, only "princess stuff".

I have figured out what is wrong with my brain!  On the left side nothing works right, and on the right side there is nothing left!

Beautiful!  Bow  That would look great on some 1 to 1 scale equipment too!  Big Smile

Well not a 1:1 train, but here is my 1968 Wheel Horse tractor that is custom decorated for Autism, along with having a custom diesel engine installed in place of the orginial gas engine.  Everything still works as it should even with the custom engine.  I mow my yard and push snow with her.  Then clean her up and ride around at antique tractor shows on her.     Mike the Aspie

That’s quite the Autism Awareness swag you’ve got there!

I’m not sure how you keep it so clean, though!

I wash it every time I mow the yard, waxed and detailed before each show.

Wow,  no kidding around!!!

Then again, with something that nice, it just wouldn’t do it justice any other way ;)
