Hey Wolfie, perhaps a pic of the space you are wanting to use might reap a reply or two...

Typically you would want the ore cars to dump into a tipple, so that coal could gravity feed into the waiting hoppers below.

So i am looking at unloading coal from the side dump cars to a 497 coal station to load hoppers. My sidedump track is elevated 2 inches coming off a postwar draw bridge.   Any ideas on setting up the actual transfer point?  I have a 397 conveyor that is a reproduction. So that can be altered.   The 497 is an original and not altering that.    This is on a 5 x 8. Postwar style layout
