Lionel Reading Docksider problem.
Posted by laz 57 on Thursday, December 23, 2004 7:53 AM
Hi can anyone help me I have a problem with the new Lionel Reading Docksider?
I ran it last night and it will balk run alittle more and balk again. I ran it in reverse and it does the same thing. I oiled all the points it said to in the instructions, and cleaned the track but it still does the hesitation every so many feet. Can I grease something on the inside?

Thanks Tony,
I did that but then I took the top off and found out the motor screws were not in , I put them back in and started it up again and I think the motor is probably shot it is gringing and the fly wheel is moving up and down. I will take it to the train shop next week.
Thanks again,
