Around 1950 Lionel changed the post-war milk car number from number 3462 to 3472. I recently purchased an unboxed car and platform set; the car is 3472 but the plaform is 3462. Was it common for Lionel to use up the old stock after an upgrade when they were compatible?
This car stops at ALL railroad crossings!
