Lionel on line Catalog Will not open?
Posted by KRM on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 2:15 PM

Tried to view the new Lionel Catalog on line today and it opens to the start page and then stops? Anyone else have this problem? Any ideas why?

Tks,

Seems I always get into it no problem. But I know on the other site there's always people having problems. Most of them are able to get in but they had to do it certain ways.  Not sure if you browse over there but you may want to check out what they did to get in.

Also. If you haven't heard, it's all in one book this year. Lots of pages to thumb through. A real pain on a smartphone!

Hey Kev. What are you using for an operating system? If you're using IE or Edge, try using Chrome and see if it's still an issue. That usually works for me when Microsoft is acting up.

Michael- Agreed! I tried to sneak a peek at work on my phone yesterday, but I gave up until I got home.

Rob, Edge now after FireFox crashed my PC last month. It worked there. I hate Chrome too much info harvesting there.

Kevin I tried it with Edge and it would only load about 3/4 of the way then stop. So it's an issue with edge as I have no problem with Chrome or Firefox.

Well, I was able to open the LIONEL Big Book 2018.

Let's just say, the "wish book" has returned.  This is a fabulous catalog, with an amazing assortment of trains.  Lots of starter sets (which Big L held the line on their MSRP), lots of cool re-issues (2 separate milk platform cars), funny Halloween sets (Scooby & Shaggy gon made me chuckle), and a lot of rolling stock honoring military and EMS.

I think the "cupola cam" will be a big hit with a lot of folks.

The Hot Wheels trains is probably something long overdue.  Cool stuff.

Can't wait to get my hands on this catalog (and I haven't said that in quite some time).  Kudos.
