that is the combination that i have on my layout. a couple of tips. if you have your track on roadbed (e.g. cork) then the switch motor must be mounted on whatever the cork is on. second, z-stuff makes springs specific for atlas switches. they come 5 to a pack. i forget the part number, but i am sure gargraves or just trains has them. let me know of you have any other questions.

Has anyone connected the DZ 1000 switch motor to Atlas switches? The mechanical connection doesn't seem well suited to the wire connectors that ship with the DZ 1000.
