Stamping numbers and words on Lionel prewar trains?

Hi,

I heard there is a service which will stamp restored train bodies with the appropriate markings (numbers, letters, and words). This, I understand, is pretty much the most authentic means to duplicate the orginial markings. However, a Google search doesn't turn up any such company. Would anyone know about this?
