I have the 4" lighted tree, or at least that's what it used to be before the wiring got damaged.  So I painted it green and put one grain of wheat bulb in the star:

If I remember correctly the reindeer made of the same kind of wire is about 3 inches high, but it's been about 12 years since i last worked in a store that carried Lemax.  But they do list K-Mart as a retail outlet so you might want to check there to see them in person.  Department 56 has a lot of mini yard deco too but they're also A LOT more expensive.

Thank you for your research and replies.  The Lemax website looks like it has the best possibilities, although all of the light strings appear too long to put around the eaves of the houses and the sztrings have too much space between the lights.  I would either have to drill holes in the houses to push the lights through and hide the extra wire in the house or have the extra wire hanging outside the house.  Neither solution looks too good.

The lighted sculptured reindeer and sleigh might be possibilities, but the website doesn't state how tall they are.

I am a little surprised that an entrepreneur hasn't filled that need.  I think a string of lights around the eaves of all the little ceramic houses that have been sold would look great at Christmas time.

Thanks again for your reply...

Found another one worth looking into: https://www.dollhousestrainsandmore.com/collections/accessories-1?page=1 This one has the best prices I saw for Lemax lighting.  And you can pick up some FasTrack to boot.  Big Smile

Walmart has battery operated strings: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Gerson-36901-30-Light-5-Silver-Wire-Warm-White-Battery-Operated-LED-Miniature-Christmas-Light-String-Set/157740140

Also check stores that sell Lemax, Department 56 and other brands of ceramic houses: https://www.walmart.com/search/?page=1&po=1&query=christmas+village#searchProductResult

If you don't want ones that light, this site is chocked full of little bits and pieces, many of which are good for O and S gauge layouts: https://factorydirectcraft.com/catalog/categories/2149_2043_2150-christmas_miniatures-1.html

I would like to install miniature light strings on some of the houses on my layout for Christmas.  Does anyone know of a source for the very tiny light strings?  I checked online at Michael's and other stores, but came up empty
