The ball bearing is available from The Train Tender
After you install the ball bearing, if the armature still moves in the field, add more thrust washers on top to take out all but a very minimal amount of movement.

Both my switchers are running in one drirection only. They try to go forward but the motor binds. I have read the old posts on loose side frames which could be part of the issue but not all.. Both armatures lift up in the housing and bind against the side of the brush cover when in forward. The armatures top thrust washers are there. The lower ball bearings part 600-110 seem to be missing but that would not prevent the armature from jumping up. Any help or ideas would be great. Also those ball bearings what diameter are they as I can not locates replacements. Thank you...
