Looking for tubular track (How it's Made)

Hi folks,

I just re-discovered my Lionel train set in my parent's basement.  Haven't had a chance to set it up again and not really sure if everything is there or in working order.  Hopefully soon I'll find some time to try it out again.  I'm not a subscriber (yet) but I do subscribe to Garden Railways so I get emails about CTT stuff too.

Anyway, while looking it over it made me wonder about the exact process used to create the tubular track.  I'm guessing the sleepers are stamped/pressed/punched probably in one operation.  I'm also guessing the track itself is roll formed.  Of course I could be way off and completely wrong.

So, why I'm here is to ask: Is there a in-depth tubular track "How it's made" pictural essay in the Classic Toy Trains magazine or different magazine, book or even better a video somewhere?  I figure if anyone might know of one, it would be one of you folks.  I did Google to try and find a video and came up with a 2-part video from Lionel in the 50's, but the track making part showed mere seconds and then it was mostly people screwing/pressing track parts together. 

The show "How it's made" is one of my favorite things to watch and I would just like to see the whole track making process.   Sorry if this isn't quite on-topic.  Didn't really know where else to ask.  Thanks in advance.

Thank you for your reply.  I guess I was unclear but I already found and saw these two clips although perhaps different versions of them because I don't remember the CTT intro.  As far as showing track making in part 1 from about 2:45 to 3:08 is about a half-dozen people sitting around a circular conveyor assemblying track pieces. Part 2 has more about what I'd like to see but it's only 25 seconds long from the very start of the clip.   I was just hoping for a more slow paced, in-depth look at how the track profiles were shaped/formed.  Like if the "How it's Made" producers did it.

There may be more in the TM video that was made in the early 1990's. It's called "The Making of the Scale Hudson". It covers more than the hudson.

I don't recall seeing anything other than the video already mentioned. As a side bar though, if you like the How It's Made videos, there was one produced on making toy trains. It was filmed at the old Weaver Models factory. Also, Mike Wolf did a MTH factory tour webcast from China with Trainworld not too long ago. Part of it was showing the Scaletrax facility and production. Not tubular of course, but still interesting to see.
