I unsoldered and removed all the trim in order to strip and repair the body of a lionel #38 STD engine. What is the best way to reattach this trim? If i solder it on after repainting, wont the heat damage the paint? Should I solder it before painting and somehow mask the trim? Or should I use Epoxy after painting to attach the trim?
