You're welcome! Let us know how it turns out.
Thanks Firelock, I will check that
If it's non powered you ought to be able to free up the wheels.
OR it could be a powered unit that's not working.

If it's the non-powered A unit I'd assume those wheels would be free-spinning and not hooked up to any drive train at all, they free-spin on the Williams dummy A that I've got. Have you checked where the axles mate up with the truck assemblys for any kind of corrosion or anything that might keep those axles from turning? Something's got them locked up for certain.
Also, it's PS2.0. Problem is the non powered A unit. Wheels are not spinning so it's being dragged.
Thanks fifedo, I will try that. I noticed it has the old ps battery in there
Proto 1? 2? or 3? Sounds but no movement? Checked battery first?
Hi,
I have an MTH Premier F3 ABA. One of the A units (2nd) is dragging. The wheels are not spinning. I tried to reset the set conventionally (whistle followed by 5 bells) and still did not fix it. I tried to run it with the the head A unit and the B unit and the loco runs faster and smoother. Do you guys think it's mechanical and not the computer? Any suggestions on how to fix this.
Thanks in advance
Glen
