Started early.  Worked hard today.  Did a lot of lifting.  Taking Tylenol Arthritis so may go reclinerizing after eating.

Enjoy the new Pot.

This is the worse software ever written.  Changed font size and will not let me change it back.  Even tried to edit and change.  No go. Angry

Good evening all,

Busy day at work.  Sister came down and took me out to lunch for my birthday.  I am now on bonus time as I turned 62.   Do not want to quit yet, but nice to know I would have some income if things went bad.  Weather is wet here.  I hope everyone has a good day.

Keep on training,

Actually, watched the speech without going to sleep.  Pretty good one.  I figured RT would rush in to try and beat out SJ.  Whistling

Good Morning,

Going to take awhile to get the train room back in shape, began on working on the "new" shelving frame today.  Finding taconite all over the place.

Chris arrived in NC today, he hooked up with my Nephew this evening that lives near Fayetteville.  Chris said he likes it down there, he found out that according to my aunt, Jefferson Davis was an ancestor.

Took a break an went to the movies tonight, saw "Hidden Numbers", really a fantastic story!  Should have been told long time ago.  Terrific movie, if you get a chance you might want to watch it.

Congrats Roy on the scooter!  When your ready for a test drive, just head west until you see the ocean, I'll pay for the gas.

Have another dentist appointment on Wednesday, won't be too many more, not many teeth left.

We actually had sunshine today, it is suppose to get in the mid to high 70's for the rest of the week.  Hurray!!!

Not much more, so will sign off.

Hope everyone has a good day!

(Hope to see you soon Roy)

Mornin' boys.  Raining and 46 along the Patterson Creek cut-off.  Thunderboomers heading in from the Ohio Valley.  FifeMax actually taking it in stride, but by no means was I gonna hold his paw while he did his business.  Had my last chocolates last night, and already Hershey is laying off staff...

Middle Princess had an excellent time in Ireland, and stated she would love to move there.  She and her best friend took the train everywhere from Dublin to Belfast, and were treated nicely by everyone.  Was not the case during a day trip to Paris, which disappointed her.  I see her returning to the Emerald Isle in the near future (but flying direct next time).

Still need to replace MSN as my homepage...SoapBox

Hello all

About ready to close up shop here and get some sleep. Will head home in the afternoon.

Already have two meetings lined up on Thurs, one work and one barn. May try and install the center bearing in the Datsun in between.

Need to try and get the cylinder head back on the 4dr this week off. Then next time I will do the other rear bearing and we can finally do the deal. Be nice to have that one out of my hair.

Things will be ramping up at the barn trying to get all the stuff moved from the Broadway property by the end of March. Will involve cranes, flatbeds, tow trucks, and finally me trying to start and drive the last one. Will keep me busy until then.

Morning.  Cloudy and 67 degrees.  Breezy.  Rain tonight.  Not as intense as those storms west of us.

Prayers for those hit by the storms.  Prayers for those west of us today who will get them.  Hope they are no bad [especially for Fifey].

Have a good one.

Aloha. Happy birthday MikeC! Lots of storms in the evening but I fortunately missed them all on my commute home. They are heading for Points East. Unfortunately, our dog was shaking like a leaf all night - poor little guy. Looks like a colder rain-ier day. Nothing exciting going on.

Wow storms overnight were nasty. I don't see any debris in the yard so I guess the house made it through. 53 now but going down by evening. Apparently my starting a couple pot's made the Chief nervous not knowing what I might do as a header..:). Glad he's finally on the ball again.

Hi guys we made it,

Doug, that Ottawa Tornado ran right along the side of I80 and we live just 3/4 south of it.

The daughter's house in Shorewood got blaster with large hail so I told him

If the hail was big be sure to have someone check the shingles on the house. Maybe they can get a new roof.

I have not got out to see what it is like here but it seems most slid to the north by about only 800'. I heard our neighbor Norm got wacked. Lost power in the middle of the storm. And it does sound like a freight train. At that point I went to the basement. We ran the gen set till the power came on then the TV and internet crashed so we went to bed. So we missed all the BS on the tube. Everything is working now.

We are going to Krogers later today and I need to go get salt at Farm & Fleet soon to.

To close for comfort. Good thing was there was good coverage on TV and time to make a plan.

Grand-son Jordan told us on the phone last night that you guys had a "tomato"Laugh

Happy birthday MikeC!  Cake  Happy B-Day

Have a good one.

Good Mornin' Fellas and Happy March the First

Just puttering along here in soggy North Central Maryland. New road bike arrived last Friday and I managed to get her assembled in short order. Didn't go on a ride till Monday evening because it has disc brakes and I've never worked with them on a bicycle before. Took a bit to figure out all the adjustments that needed to be made.

Fife - that is not the first time I've heard that about Paris. In fact that is the one European city I have ZERO interest to ever see again, but TheQ has never been there and wants to go some day, so I'll suck it up for her. Dirty, and grimey are two words to describe the city. There are no words safe for this forum to describe the inhabitants.

Happy B-Day MikeC! Happy B-Day

Went out to get food and supplies and 1/4 mile across the field straight north of our driveway the farm on the top of the ridge is flattened. Only thing left still standing id the house, kind of. Also the place just east of there is also tore up. So that was the freight train I heard before I hit the basement. What a mess!!! Tongue Tied  WOW!!!

Storms kinda rolled over us (as will happen with the Alleghanies in our back yard).  Lost power for 30 seconds, and had to rake some stones off of driveway, but nothing like Kevin experienced.  Now over Brent.

88 - As fate would have it, she visited Paris the same day they arrested 3 for terror plot.  Wifey hadn't heard that news, and JJ kept sending us pics of Police waving to her.  When she was back on Irish soil, I told Kelly...  Felt like Geraldo.

Hi all,

I have been crazy busy and had little time to post but I definitely wanted to pass on my condolences to SP Ray and his family.  I am definitely praying for you and your family duing this difficult time.

88/Fife - We have been to Paris numerous times over the years and have always enjoyed it, as well as every other part of France we have visited.  Perhaps my intermediate level French helps the experience.

Good night,

Joe

Evening all!

Weather sort of normal. As they say, March is coming in like a lion and hope it leaves like a lamb. 65 and very breezy today. Mid-30's tonight. 65 tomorrow and no wind.

Kev - glad that tomato missed you.

Dennis - that's cool about the funicular. There is some city in S America that has a lot of them.

Ray - continued prayers for you and the family.

Mike C - Happy B-Day Happy B-Day Happy B-Day

Doug M - yes the scooter was a big win!

Regards, Roy

Good evening all,

Thank you all for the birthday wishes.  Busy day at work as I got caught up on case reports.  Windy on the drive in and home.  Quiet night at home.  Did go see one of my favorite music groups at noon today near work as they put on a free show.  Very nice.  I hope everyone has a good day.

Keep on training,

Morning.  53 degrees.  Yanks sharing their chilly temps.  Actually, normal highs for early March.  Just gotten use to the extra warm temps.

Kev, glad the tomato didn't hit you.  Prayers for your neighbors.  All we got was a good rain.  Much needed.

Mayors stuff this afternoon and evening.  Then Cablea's to kill time as Wifey is having a hen party tonight.

Remember Ray.

Hope all have a great day.

Good afternoon,

I went to Ken's this morning with the sick ZW Chief gave me years ago and it is all better now. Roller on the right handle froze and was shorting across more than one winding at a time. He did not charge me anything and showed me how to work on them myself. So I gave him $20.00 anyhow. The guy is still doing good for 82 years old and sharp as a knife. So when I got home I hooked up the ZW with jumpers to the main loop and ran the 3 motor A-B-A set and 6 lit cars for 1/2 hour and it hardly got warm. She is good as new!!  Yes   Big Smile Not going to put it back in service since I already have the other back-up ZW mounted and hooked up. May as well use it for a few years.

On the way home I saw 6 elect co trucks on one site to replace one pole.  Laugh It was one of those outsource companies milking the cow.

Already getting calls by storm chasers wanting to check my roof. I told them come on down if you want a close look at the working end of my shotgun. Pirate

Mornin' boys.  29 and a covering of snohizo along the Patterson Creek cut-off.  No delays.  Nothing planned for today.  Staying warm, I guess.

Went to pick up pics at CVS, and was very disappointed that all shots came out purple.  We then checked the complimentary CD, and those were of an unknown prom or wedding.  Was told a problem at Kodak.  I miss Ritz!

Good morning,

Cold is the word, 24 here and will maybe hit 35. Lots of sun and no wind makes it okay.  Cool

Going to lunch today with Raj. He has been at India for work and not home so it has been awhile since we shot the bull.

Later when I get home I am going check the AC wall power phase of the three transformers on the layout. I hope they are alright.
