A problem with Lionel O27 profile wide radius switches.

Everyone running that combination is having that problem, you have the correct fix!

 Looks like it is the nature of the beast with those switches. Seems to be the worst truning into a switch rather than going straight through one. Bang Head

Was having problems with the Menards boxcars shorting out crossing switches at slow speed and switching the e-unit into neutral. Found they were shorting out from the inside of the wheel crossing the center rail power lug in the widest area. Not the only cars this happens with. Needed to redo the fingernail polish on the side of the center rail and that should do it. Seem to be a problem of the Lionel O27 profile wide radius switches. 42"R 6-65167 & 8

Has anyone else seen this problem or have a better fix?
