Port Lines Hobbies sell the 27" radius rubber roadbed. It is listed for $4/piece. All the 27"R is obviously the Johnson repro roadbed.

MisterFribble, I don't go to too many train shows anymore, but I would always seem to find someone selling both the original and the repo roadbed. As Jim mentioned a guy named Rick Johnson made repo roadbed. His product is excellent in my opinion and if you look at the repo and the original from a top or side view, its very hard to tell the difference. I have seen it and held it, but never actually bought any as I was able to get the original stuff back when you could not give it away years ago. Today, I try to buy more of the original when I can find it for a decent price, but I still have not seen the repo version around. You could find the original roadbed for as little as a few bucks to someone asking for your first born. Its insane. I came across an old box of the original stuff this past fall (maybe 30 pieces) and when I asked the guy what he would take for the box, he replied, "ahhh gimme $200.00." I just smiled and walked away. Weeks earlier I bought about 20 sections for $1.00 a piece in an older type train/hobby shop, and this guy did know what he had, but he had it for so long that he was willing to sell it cheap. The really sad thing is, that guy asking $200.00 will likely get it at some point. If you can find the R. Johnson repo anywhere, I would buy it as well.
Look for a company called Johnson Rubber Roadbed, they made repro roadbed a few years back
Jim
Is there anybody making American Flyer style rubber roadbed? I'm trying to make a layout using it but no one sells 27" radius roadbed, only 20". Can you help me?
