Looking for size and source for internal tooth bronze washer that fits between frame and power truck of Lionel 2360 GG-1.  Any help appreciated.

This doesn't sound like typical Lionel hardware(internal tooth washer), and it doesn't appear in the service manual documentation. How do you know it's missing?

Not sure if this will help, but take a look at the following link. If I am properly understanding you to mean "bronze star washer", it appears that some of the 2360 GG1's had no washers and others did.

One person indicated that he had a great conversation regarding these washers with Jeff Kane at www.ttender.com and Jeff disassembled his personal locomotive while the two were talking.

Thanks guys.  I have 3 GG-1's.  All, the 2330 and the two 2360's had the bronze star washers.  As all of you said, it may have been a modification added later on to prevent pony trucks from rubbing against frame.

McMaster Carr Supply, major online supply house, has internal tooth lock washers in bronze staring at screw size #2 and going up. In the small sizes a package of 100 cost about three dollars. Shipping will be more than that. There is no minimum purchase at McMaster Carr and they take credit cards. You may have to set up an online account. You can call then or do everything on line.
