Speaking of 773s
Posted by KRM on Monday, December 19, 2016 12:05 PM

The post on the 773 and O27 track got me wanting one again.
I have always wanted a 773 but just don’t have the budget for the original 1950 model. I know there are other years that Lionel made them, not sure when or how many others. So I wonder what one would be best for my conventional operation layout with the smallest curve being a ½ Marx O34.
Thanks!

Stay away from the 783 even after tweeking it is not a good performer.

Each one after that got better.
