Any track plan can be enlarged.  Usually all you have to do is add straights where none existed before in the loops, or add sidings outside the original plan.  You might want to invest in track planning software like the one from RRtrack.

Has there been anything published about the display layouts that Gilbert built?

I'm interested in building #352 from 1956, but this link is all that I can find:

I'm interested in how Gilbert decorated this layout. I'd also like to expand it to 6x10 if I can, because I'd rather use a 751A log loader instead of the 787 that is pictured among other things.
