sir james I

I would stay away from the Beeps. The company is out of business. Therefore the only parts will come from other Beeps.

James, thanks for the information about the Beeps. Yes  I got the second MTH Wheeling & Lake Erie (Orange & Black) caboose this morning.  I'm really happy with both cabooses, a nice belated Birthday gift for myself. Happy B-Day  The hobby shop also has an ATLAS 0-Gauge Wheeling & Lake Erie GP-35 High Nose with Professional Weathering.  Between the MTH and the ATLAS locomotives that I'll be getting I'll have my perfect freight train. Big Smile

If you like the W&LE MTH also makes a nice black coal hopper w/orange lettering. Check at the same store that sold the cabooses.

James, I saw the W&LE black coal hopper, it's a nice looking hopper.  They also have a number of MTH W&LE diesels, plus they also have the RMT (Ready Made Trains) W&LE BEEP DIESEL ENGINES. Big Smile  James, thank you for your help, it's greatly appreciated. Yes

I got the MTH (Black) Wheeling & Lake Erie caboose this afternoon.  I'm blown away by this caboose, MTH nailed it, it is flawless. Yes  I should be getting the Orange Wheeling & Lake Erie caboose early next week.  After looking at this caboose, I'm thinking of getting one more black and one more orange of these two cabooses to put into a desktop display case and using the first two on my carpet layout. Big Smile

Bob and James,

When I saw these two cabooses I knew I had to get them.  I have always had a thing for cabooses, not sure why.   I also have a Montana Rail Link caboose from MTH which is another nice looking caboose.

Maybe I'll have a train with just cabooses. Big Smile  Wink

I saw the ad for them and they do look really nice. Getting both was a good idea, I would have trouble trying to pick just one.

I have met Pat and he is a good guy to buy from.

But don't be surprised if this thread disappears.

Yesterday, tuesday, I ordered a really nice caboose, MTH 20-91591 - Wheeling & Lake Erie and today I order the other MTH 20-91592 - Wheeling & Lake Erie caboose.  The First caboose is black with orange lettering and the ends are orange, the second caboose is orange with black lettering and the ends are black.  I should have both cabooses by the end of next week, can't wait.  I really like these two cabooses. Big Smile Yes
