I should have said I was looking for a K-Line Amtrak F40 PH with TMCC/Railsounds.

Thank you Notch 8. I looked at the web site but did not see anything about the special run. I will call them.

Tom, can't run MTH yet. When the layout expansion is done and all the rewiring is complete, then I will probaly add it on. I have a complete MTH Amtrak train, except the F40 PH. I even have the Amtrak Box car.

JusTrains of Delaware is having a run produced exclusively for them by K-Line.They will be decorated in the three stripe Amtrak sceme and have two different road numbers. The expected delivery date is sometime after the holiday (Jan. - Feb.). Check out the website for more info. www.justrains.com .

Buckeye, which road name are you looking for [?]

If you would consider an MTH, I paid only $200.00 for mine

This is PS2 with smoke. You saw it when you were over.

Now, has anyone seen a K-Line F40PH with TMCC/Railsounds anywhere? I'm getting tired of getting beat out on EBAY, too. Google hasn't come up with anything either.

Hello FECLionel! Here are three places you can try. Train city(Erie,Pa)- Grand Central(Lincoln,Neb) and the Trading Post in Cleveland,Oh.The phone # for the Trading post is in the Index of Dealers in every CTT, While Train City and Grand Central are on the Web.One of them should have your Passenger Car.Hope this helps out.......Keith.

I got 250 hits on Google for "Lionel 16048" (without the quotation marks), including one in German for the "Amtrak Speisewagen".

I've been looking for this car since last Christmas. Its getting really hard to find early 90's Lionel rolling stock. Anyone know anywhere besides Ebay I can find this car. My second Lionel set when I was a kid was the Lionel Silver Spike set and this is the only car I am missing from the set. - Thanks & Happy Holidays
