Fixing 2666W need Intell inside
Posted by Anonymous on Thursday, December 2, 2004 4:43 PM
The family train taken out once a year needs lots of cleaning etc. I took the top off the Tender and discovered someone had been doing some soldering! [:o]

Anyway, I have no clue what was done to fix the Whistle. There seems to be a spot where a wire was soldered and then removed. Are there any schematics I can use to fix this? The whistle works pretty good, I just thought someone had done a fix way in the past. I'll go about posting a picture if it comes to it. Maybe you guys would know what's up.

I know the old saying "If it ain't broke, don't fix it", yet I want to make this thing ship shape. I get the impression that some feature has been circumvented or something.

Thanks
