How does HO DCS (PS-3) compare with O DCS (PS-2)?

Apologies if this topic covered before. I was just curious if PS-3 has anything better or worse than PS-2. I'm particularly interested as I use PS-2.

I only know what I have read, and heard from thelocal MTH rep. The items that I think will be truly important to some are the wireless tether and the lack of a battery.

Sorry I do not have any more info. My son likes HO (sigh...he has gone astray) so I imagine we will have one of the new K4 Pacifics when they come out.
