Jim,

Thanks for the reminder of the day the flamingos came to town.  They made a visit to the Blueboard Central too.

I wonder if fife still has his flock?  Wink

Flamingos in the North.  Must be Global Warming...

I have figured out what is wrong with my brain!  On the left side nothing works right, and on the right side there is nothing left!

I almost forgot; the flamingos made another appearance at Thymley Manor at Christmas time that year too.

Before Boxcar Bill passed, he showed me how to wire a Williams NW-2 Switcher for ERR.  It is crowded under the hood but there is still room for a sound card in the future.  This NW-2 in Monon livery is a duel motored unit that has no problems with the 2% grade on my layout.  Using directions provided by LAZ, I drilled the hole very slowly in the cab roof for the yellow flashing LED from Evan Designs.  The electro coupolers are short shanked and work fine. The headlights are both LEDs.

BTW, The seven freight cars are my find of the year at $7.50 each.
