This bridge is somewhat of a "political" plum since it is a bridge to know-where

Love it - a pork-barrel project for your RR! Perhaps name it after your congressman?

My Hellsgate Bridge....Sort of
Posted by baggetta on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 10:00 AM

I wanted to add a bridge to one of the sections of my Tombstone Southwest railroad, so I decided to build a wooden version of the Hellsgate Bridge.  This bridge is somewhat of a "political" plum since it is a bridge to know-where, but I had fun building it and plugging it into my layout. I plan on doing some more work on it, but I couldn't wait to try it out.  Here's a short video showing the results.  The bridge is atop my Western Union segment of the layout.

If you would like to try building this bridge (or maybe improve upon it) you can check out the step by step process I used and a full downloadable plan for cutting it out from my blog
