Welcome to the Forum.
There is some new stuff in O gauge and some companies have gone away. RMT is shutting down, Weaver just shut down. A new company called Menard's is now selling O gauge freight cars and O gauge tubular track.

Welcome aboard and don't be a stranger tell us a little about what you plan to do. what you know so far. If you have been gone since before the mid nineties a lot has changed we can run engines by remote control now and uncouple anywhere on the layout with out special track from the engine. ( engines that are TMCC/Legacy/DCS/LionchiefPlus) they even make request and all. ( with push of certain buttons)
Life's hard, even harder if your stupid John Wayne
