If the car worked fine on the old track and does not on the new there is a wiring or power issue. What i woud do is apply power directly to the cars shoes and see if it operates. at 20v accross the shoes the milkman should go into hyperdrive.

The controller wiring is very tiny and probably isn't providing the current needed to actuate the car. Also, the new controllers, while looking like the old original 1938 style RCS versions, are not nearly as robust.

36621 Milk Car and 6-12054 Fastrack

Hi All, I switched from 027 tube track to Fastrack. My 36621 Milk car worked great, but not with Fastrack #6-12054. The uncouple works fine but the unload just buzzes from the track. The pickup shoes have contact and continuity, i have used up to 20 volts and still just a buzz.

I have seen posts that there is not much that can be done, is this true??

Thanks for any replies in advance!
