So, if i wanted to run DCS or PS2 locomotives I must have a power brick wired to the TIU on the Fixed input.  Also, if I want to run prewar Lionel locomotives, I have to wire up another power brick to the variable input on the TIU.  So, I would have 2 power bricks wired up the TIU, Correct?  How do I wire up my Z4000 and my prewar Z Transformers to the TIU??  Thanks, Jeff

Each TIU output must have an input voltage. The post war ZW is what I have used with my TIU and an MTH Z-750 brick to power the TIU. I have run PS-2 engines on one track and older Lionel engines on another track controlled by track voltage setting, have not run both on the same track.

Hello all, I have an MTH Z4000 and some Lionel Z Transformers (Prewar).  I have some questions about the DCS System.  Can I use my Z Transformers with my DCS System??  I have a TIU and AIU for the DCS System.  I have 8 Switches controlled my the AIU and some accessories connected to the AIU as well.  Can I use 2 power bricks from MTH Z1000's to power my TIU?? Or must I just use one power brick?? Can I run conventional prewar trains and DCS Equiped locomotives PS2 with my TIU DCS setup?? How does the TIU wire up if I want to use both DCS PS2 and Conventional prewar Lionel trains on the same track??  Any help will do and have a Merry Christmas to all.  Trying to get my layout working right before my nephew comes over the the house tomorrow.  Hope i can get some replies quickly.
