"Compact" Is A Relative Thang
Posted by Texas Pete on Thursday, December 24, 2015 1:19 PM

Received the February 2016 issue this morning.  It contains Neil Schorr's article "Add A Compact Town."  While there can be no doubt as to Mr. Schorr's modeling prowess his "compact" town, built in a corner of his creation, is bigger than my whole layout.  To me, a compact corner is maybe 2 sq. ft.

I understand where the article is coming from, and it's a gooder, but sometimes I feel that the magazine needs to get real in terms of how much space the average enthusiast really has available to devote to their trains.
