I purchaed a new Railsounds tender #19833. I also purchased a new Railsounds Commander kit with the hope of upgrading the old soundboard. The tender uses a Hall effect sensor with three wires (blue, yellow and green) goino from the sensor to a three prong plug. The new soundboard hardware comes with a two prong plug with two wires (blue and black). Under the chuff trigger installation instructions for the new soundboard, it shows a reed switch sensor. How to I attach the old wiring to the new? I would need to splice the new wires as the old plug does not fit into the new soundboard.

Contac the great folks at The Electric Railroad Company.  They make TMCC boards and sound upgrades.  They may be able to help as they are a manufacturer for Lionel.
