I spent a few hours yesterday setting up a display of Pre War American Flyer trains at a local historical society.  The display, running layout, and a Polar Express layout under their tree are all a part of their Christmas display.

Its great fun to share trains with folks in the communicty

It was a very busy day yesterday. From 11am to 4pm was ok but nothing to rave about crowd wise, from 5pm to 9pm we had 4800+ visitors. Gave away quite a few candy canes and had to switch out a couple of Thomas engines push button loop, think they got tired from all the cookie crunchers pushing their buttons.

Was dead tired when I got home, about 10:30, checked e-mails then crashed. But it was still lots of fun and got to chat with a bunch of people.

Think I feel a nap coming.
