Kooljock, try connecting power directly to the black wire and the green wire and see if it will go from caution to a clear signal, the contacts in the track thing might be arcing causing it to hold a caution signal, I know my signal bridge is tempermental, I plan to wire up a relay network using an insulated rail to fire the signals. Cheers MIke

All I can tell you is that my MTH position light signal has ceased working, and now goes from "STOP" to "CAUTION" to "CAUTION/STOP" combined, but no "GO".

This is using the MTH weight activated track contactor.

I wish I could help, but it should be feasible. I havent got the detector for my MTH PRR signal bridge yet, but just having it hook up to give a clear on my main track and the rest showing stop looks good! Keep us all posted on your progress. Cheers Mike

MTH PRR SIGNALS
Posted by EMDSD40 on Thursday, November 25, 2004 9:57 PM
I have several questions.....How many signals has anyone hooked up to the Scale-Trax infared sensor? I have a four track mainline, would these sensors function across two tracks reliably? I am looking to scratch build 4-track signal bridges using the MTH add on signal heads that they make for the PRR signal bridge. Does anyone know the pin configuration? I have 5VDC regulated power supplies that I could use dropping resistors to get to 3VDC. If anyone has experimented with this scenario your knowledge would be helpful.
