If anyone has any info on this i would appreciate any info on it, ie: how many were made, what I should expect to pay for it, and if any dealers you know of have it in stock.

According to Lionel's website, it hasn't shipped yet (they have a ship date of Nov. 04). Can't help ya on the price.
